Jones joins CharterSync

CharterSync, the air cargo charter platform, has appointed air cargo broker Rudi Jones as charter sales manager.

Jones brings more than 15 years’ experience to CharterSync following a successful career as part of Chapman Freeborn’s cargo brokering team in Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia.

Prior to that, he worked at Gatwick Airport for ground handling company Servisair, after starting his career with Thomas Cook.

As charter sales manager for CharterSync, Jones will be responsible for developing and implementing the strategic sales plan, maximising new business opportunities and developing new relationships with freight forwarders and airline operators.

Ed Gillett, co-founder and director of CharterSync, says: “Rudi’s appointment is a confident step forward in the strategic vision for CharterSync. Combining his wealth of experience with our innovative technology will result in the perfect harmony of automation and personalised service, giving an unparalleled level of support to our clients.”
