A Wilmington, Ohio-based airline has landed a $40.7 million US government contract, the second major award it has landed this year, to undertake military cargo and passenger airlift capacity.

Air Transport International, the charter airline owned by Air Transport Services Group, has renewed a contract for existing services that use ATI’s fleet of four Boeing 757-200 combi aircraft, the only Boeing 757-200 Combi fleet in the world. These are capable of flying 3,000 miles non-stop while transporting 10 full cargo positions of freight on the main deck and up to 42 passengers in distinctly separate areas of the aircraft.
