Zoetis and GRU Airport elected to the Pharma.Aero board of directors 

Pharma.Aero has announced two new additions to its board of directors: Gergely Szorcsik, director of global distribution, representing the pharma manufacturer Zoetis, and Hugo Repolho, head of commercial cargo at GRU Airport.  

Trevor Caswell, chairman of the board of directors of Pharma.Aero, said: “We are excited to have Zoetis and Guarulhos Airport, our Strategic Members, taking an active role in designing and implementing the strategy for a bigger and stronger organization. It is our top priority to extend and strengthen our collaboration with the Life Science and MedTech manufacturers sector, and the presence of Gergely, representing Zoetis, and Hugo, representing a strategic region in Brazil, will have a decisive contribution in this direction. I am confident that our Board of Directors, with the dedication of our Advisory Board and the support of our Back Office team, will lead to great successes for our Pharma.Aero worldwide membership.” 

Gergely Szorcsik, member of the board of directors representing Zoetis, said: “I am deeply honoured to be elected to the board of directors of Pharma.Aero and get the opportunity to represent the pharma shipper community within the organisation. I look forward to working with the different industry leads on projects and ensuring that we continuously bring value to all segments of our industry.”

Hugo Repolho, member of the Board of Directors representing GRU Airport. adds: “The Pharma segment is undoubtfully of utmost importance given its direct impact on people’s life regarding medicine distribution, emergency services and treatments. Having the opportunity to be part of the board of directors of such an organisation that is able to bring together all segments of the pharma supply chain, starting from manufacturers to industry partners, transporters and users is quite rewarding and gives us the responsibility and opportunity to the development of global pharmaceutical Logistics. I would like to thank the fellow board members, the valuable Associates and the back-office team for the support and confidence assigned to me and GRU Airport to assume this challenging project.”
