Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) has strengthened its European team with the appointment of general managers in Belgium and Scandinavia.

Michel Fiorani joins as general manager Belgium, based in Brussels, having previously held senior management positions at Swissport, Emirates and Cargolux.

Jack Brandstrup takes up the role of general manager Scandinavia, with responsibility for Sweden and Denmark.

Copenhagen-based Brandstrup was previously a director at Danish environmental services company City Container, and has worked in the environmental, postal and aviation sectors.

John Batten, executive vice president cargo – Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia says: “Belgium and Scandinavia are markets where WFS is continuing to grow and invest and Michel and Jack will be responsible for driving our further development as well as ensuring we continue to meet the high standards for service, safety and security expected by our customers in Belgium, Denmark and Sweden.”
