WFS picks up new airline contracts across Scandinavia

Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) is continuing to grow its product portfolio in Scandinavia with three new airline cargo handling contracts in Denmark and Sweden.

In Copenhagen, WFS is now handling 10 Boeing 737 flights a week for Ukraine International Airlines to Kiev, Ukraine’s capital city.

WFS provides cargo handling services to 25 online airlines in Copenhagen, and handling 110,000 tonnes per annum.

At Stockholm Arlanda Airport, China Eastern Airlines has chosen WFS to handle cargo onboard its seasonal Airbus A330-200 service to Shanghai, China, which is operating four times a week until 24 October.

This is WFS’ second new contract in Sweden, as Ukraine International Airlines’ 12 Arlanda-Kiev flights per week will be handled in the WFS cargo terminal from 1 August.

WFS Scandinavia general manager, Jimi Daniel Hansen says: “These new contracts reinforce WFS’ reputation as a leading provider of high quality cargo handling services for customers in Scandinavia. We thank Ukraine International Airlines and China Eastern for their confidence in our local teams in Copenhagen and Arlanda.”
