Kirsten De Bruijn, Executive Vice President of WestJet Cargo, expressed enthusiasm about the recent developments, stating, “These expansions align with WestJet Cargo’s commitment to meeting the evolving needs of our customers. We are excited to connect these vibrant destinations and contribute to the growth of trade and commerce.”

The commodities transported on these routes include perishables and general cargo. The decision to expand to these destinations underscores the recognized potential of WestJet’s passenger and cargo departments, independent of new aircraft acquisitions.
