WebCargo and United Cargo to open online portal

United Cargo and WebCargo by Freightos will work together to design and release a new online portal based on WebCargo Horizon.

The online portal will provide customers with expanded on-demand booking, dynamic pricing and real-time updates on United’s global cargo network.

The portal is the first of many digital transformation strategies for the carrier, with customers benefitting from a redesigned website and other innovations.

Jan Krems, president of United Cargo says air cargo customers want a quick, fully digitised sales experience.

He says: “WebCargo by Freightos is a recognised leader in providing the level of digital connectivity we want to deliver. We believe the combination of WebCargo by Freightos’ proven technology innovations and United Cargo’s unmatched capacity and service will provide extraordinary benefits for our customers.”

Manel Galindo, CEO of WebCargo says: “United Cargo’s technology vision aligns with our goal to eliminate communication barriers between forwarders and carriers through the industry’s most comprehensive eBooking platform, enabling industry-wide connectivity and a better shipper experience.”
