WACO System welcomes two new members

WACO System has welcomed Andes Logistics and Spence Maldives as new members and signed a global strategic partnership deal with Qatar Airways.

The new members were formally welcomed at an extraordinary general meeting in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Qatar Airways was welcomed as a new member of WACO’s preferred carrier scheme at the meeting.

WACO System executive director, Richard Charles says: “Independent forwarders are flexible and offer local expertise and a personalised service. Our members offer a bespoke service, and thanks to partnerships with carriers such as Qatar Airways, they deliver a world-class service at competitive prices.”

Andes Logistics is a Bolivian company launched in 2008, which provides international freight transport services and road services to Argentina, Brazil, Bolivia, Paraguay, Peru and Chile. Spence Maldives was established in 2006 and is based in Male, the capital of the Maldives.
