VIDEO: Budapest, Dusseldorf and Hamburg airports

AZura Productions interviewed Dusseldorf Airport’s, Gerton Hulsman, Budapest Airport’s, René Droese and Hamburg Airport’s, Alexander Müller at air cargo europe in Munich to discuss the effect over-capacity at airlines is having upon cargo handlers and future plans.

Hulsman is managing director of Dusseldorf Airport Cargo, a 100 per cent subsidiary of Dusseldorf Airport, which has handling contracts with over 33 carriers.

Droese is a director of property and cargo at Budapest Airport, where in 2016 cargo volumes reached 112,143 tonnes a 22.7 per cent growth rate with more set to follow.

Müller is a business engineer at Hamburg Airport where new Hamburg Airport Cargo Center HACC opened in May 2016 and it covers 20,000 square metres and cargo is growing.
