va-Q-tec honoured second consecutive time as a Top Innovator 2019

va-Q-tec, a provider of high-efficiency products and solutions in the field of thermal insulation and TempChain logistics, was honoured as Top Innovator 2019 at the TOP 100 innovation competition. For the second time in a row, the Würzburg-based company made it into the German innovation elite, even finishing second in the finals among nearly 400 participants in the size class of companies with more than 200 employees.

For the 26th time, TOP 100 evaluated the innovation management of medium-sized companies on the basis of a scientific classification. In the independent selection process, va-Q-tec particularly impressed with its innovation success and research mentality throughout the company.

The mentor of the competition, Ranga Yogeshwar, and the scientific director of the comparison, Prof Dr med Nikolaus Franke, honoured the company on 28 June. The ceremony, moderated by ARD news anchor Linda Zervakis, took place in the Jahrhunderthalle in Frankfurt. Dr Joachim Kuhn, founder and CEO of va-Q-tec AG, was thrilled: “To be awarded the second best in the competition of Germany’s most innovative companies is a great success for va-Q-tec. The award is a great motivation to maintain and even expand our technology leadership.”
