UPS appoints new Asia Pacific and Europe presidents

UPS has announced management changes, with Nando Cesarone taking over as president for the Europe Region, Ross McCullough president for the Asia Pacific Region, and Cindy Miller taking over as president of UPS Global Freight Forwarding.

Cesarone, a Canadian citizen who has worked at UPS for 25 years will be responsible for the 56 countries and territories and more than 45,000 employees in Europe. He has previously worked as country manager for Austria, Hungary and Switzerland, vice president of operations for UPS Canada, president of North East Europe and president for UPS Asia Pacific.

He is taking over from Miller, who is returning to the US to run UPS Global Freight Forwarding. Miller has previously been president of UPS South Europe and Africa, president for UPS UK, Ireland and Nordics, as well as UPS Europe.

McCullough has worked at UPS since 1984, serving most recently as vice president for corporate strategy. He has previously worked on UPS’s US marketing manager and on the development of Mail Boxes in Europe to help its growing retail strategy in the region.

UPS International president, Jim Barber says: “Nando and Ross have honed their leadership skills with a broad range of assignments around the world and I know they will make a significant impact as presidents of the Asia Pacific and Europe Regions.”

Barber continues: “Cindy led the Europe region through an exciting time of record business performance as well as an historic $200 million expansion of UPS’s European air hub in Cologne, Germany.”
