New UK cargo carrier’s website goes live

A new UK cargo airline CargoLogicAir has gone live with its website as the carrier looks set to launch services from Stansted Airport.

It will be the only all-cargo carrier in the UK and the website www.cargologicair.com says it will offer “customers the highest levels of service, safety and security, and all delivered by our highly knowledgeable and experienced team of air cargo professionals”.

It will have its headquarters at London Stansted Airport, where it will operate scheduled Boeing 747-400 Freighter services as well as global air cargo charter flights for customers around the world.

“With our lean business model, the development of CargoLogicAir’s services and network will ensure our customers enjoy a consistently high quality of service, and this will be further enhanced as we explore new market opportunities,” the website adds.

The airline says it is in the process of receiving the Air Operator Certificate from the UK Civil Aviation Authority and has been carrying out test flights for the last month, but has a crew in place.

CargoLogicAir says it is aiming to become the leader in the European air cargo market offering cargo services on scheduled and charter flights.

It will use a Boeing 747-400 F with a payload of 110 tonnes and acquired it through a lease agreement with Aircastle.

Media reports say the carrier has been set up through the Volga-Dnepr Group, which also includes AirBridgeCargo Airlines.
