Turkish Cargo obtains Authorized Economic Operator Certificate

Turkish Cargo has secured Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) Certificate issued to enable the companies to engage in trade operations more rapidly and reliably in international arena. Turkish Cargo has became the first and only air cargo carrier to take advantage of this certificate across Turkey.

Following consultations between the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Turkey and the World Customs Organization (WCO), the Authorized Economic Operator Certificate is highly important to ensure rapid and reliable deliveries in the global trade chain. Entities which obtain the certificate, fulfill many requirements, prescribed under the applicable customs regulations, by means of the simplified methods. Adding this new competence to the existing ones, Turkish Cargo aims to enhance its successful performance, demonstrated in the recent years, even further.

Achieving time and cost saving and enhancing its operational capabilities with the certificate, Turkish Cargo keeps supporting the importers – exporters through its tailored and practical solutions for the logistic requests, and maintains its initiatives aiming to achieve the targets set for 2023 by developing the regional trade operations.
