Turkish Cargo joins Animal Transport Association

Turkish Cargo has become a member of the Animal Transportation Association, a non-profit association aiming to transport live animals safely and securely.

Other members include airlines, freight forwarders, marine companies, public institutions, universities, research agencies, animal breeders and vets.

The organisation offers opportunities to members including more than 200 requests for transportation annually, assistance in finding reliable animal carriers, sending weekly and current news, sharing best practices manual, publicity, and providing opportunities to make contact with institutions and organisations including CITES and OIE.

Turkish Airlines adopted the United for Wildlife Buckingham Palace Declaration in 2017 to demonstrate the importance of preventing illegal wildlife trade, and animal rights to raise awareness levels.
