Tonnage up at Macau International Airport

Macau international Airport handled 17,000 tonnes in the first half of 2017 – a 14.7 per cent increase on the same six-month period last year.

The Asian gateway is aiming to keep up the growth in the rest of the year and handle 34,000 tonnes of cargo in 2017 as a whole.

There are currently 43 routes operated by 27 airlines at Macau International Airport.

The figures were announced by operator Macau International Airport Company Limited (CAM) during its semi-annual review of 2017 on 18 July.
