Tim Strauss joins Drone Delivery Canada board

Air Canada’s vice president of cargo, Tim Strauss has joined Drone Delivery Canada’s advisory board to help the company execute its commercial strategy.

Strauss has 31 years of air cargo experience in both the airline and freight forwarding industries, having held leadership roles in global sales and operations at Northwest Airlines, Delta Air Lines and Hawaiian Airlines.

He began his career with Emery Worldwide in 1987 where he started as a cargo handler and completed his tenure as vice president of transportation and logistics.

Drone Delivery Company chief executive officer, Tony Di Benedetto says: “We are very pleased to have Tim join our team. I have had the pleasure of knowing Tim for quite some time and his forward-thinking vision of logistics and solid industry experience are true assets for the Company in implementing our commercialisation strategy in Canada and abroad.”
