TIACA makes senior appointments

The International Air Cargo Association (TIACA) has appointed Warren Jones director, as it moves to strengthen its sales team.

Jones will report to Doug Brittin, secretary general of TIACA, and will be based at the organisation’s Miami headquarters.

As director, Jones will focus primarily on TIACA’s sales initiatives. He will also manage other elements of the organisation’s commercial development programmes and operations.

He brings 18 years’ air cargo experience to his new role, and was most recently president of cargo network services at the International Air Transport Association (IATA).

Also joining TIACA is Kenneth Gibson, who has previously worked for IATA, Kerry Logistics, and World Fuel Services. As business development manager, he too will be based in Miami, responsible for supporting Jones and developing TIACA’s sales strategy. Gibson will be an important point of contact for TIACA members, the association says.

“Warren’s extensive experience and industry knowledge and Kenneth’s background within airfreight will be tremendous assets as we focus on our three pillars of advocacy, networking, and knowledge,” says Brittin.
