- The International Air Cargo Association (TIACA) is proud to announce the Inspirational Leader Award is officially accepting nominations.
- The Inspirational Leadership Award recognises an industry leader whose career and actions have had a lasting and positive impact on air cargo, both through professional achievement and through the ability to inspire others.
This award is presented to an individual who demonstrates inspirational leadership, innovation, dedication and commitment to the air cargo and logistics sector, positive impact on society and digitalisation and meaningful influence on the growth and development of young talent. The Inspirational Leadership Award reflects TIACA’s commitment to recognising leadership that strengthens the industry today while shaping its future.
Nominees may come from any sector of the global air cargo ecosystem, including airlines, airports, freight forwarders, ground handling, technology providers, regulators, and associated organisations.
“Strong, principled leadership is essential to the continued success and resilience of the air cargo industry,” said Roos Bakker, TIACA Chair. “The Inspirational Leadership Award recognises individuals whose influence extends beyond business performance, inspiring people, fostering collaboration, and helping to move our industry forward.”
The Inspirational Leadership Award is assessed through an independent and transparent judging process. Nominations are reviewed by a dedicated jury composed of NextGen industry leaders, ensuring credibility, balance, and global representation.
The jury evaluates candidates based on leadership impact, industry contribution, professional integrity, and the ability to inspire positive change across the air cargo sector.
“The credibility of this award is grounded in the rigor and independence of its judging process,” said Glyn Hughes, TIACA Director General. “By bringing together a highly respected international jury, we ensure that the Inspirational Leadership Award truly reflects the values, diversity, and global nature of the air cargo industry.”
