The business of meeting at TIACA

The business of meeting at TIACA

The speed networking tool relaunched this week and allows visitors to book up to thirty 25-minute meetings in advance of attending the three-day event, which takes place from 16 to 18 October at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.

Associations representing hundreds of supply chain companies have also announced plans to hold Board meetings at next week’s ACF, which is co-located with the Canadian International Freight Forwarders Association (CIFFA)’s 70th anniversary conference.

“TIACA is the only Association to represent every segment of the air cargo supply chain, making the Air Cargo Forum the perfect platform for meeting new suppliers, networking with industry leaders, and learning from the experts,” says TIACA secretary general Vladimir Zubkov.

“Our new vision and mission launched earlier this year has seen us strengthen our global scope and we are working more closely than ever with new associations and partners representing the full global supply chain spectrum, to see how we can learn from one another and grow.”

The associations holding board meetings at next week’s ACF include CIFFA, the Airforwarders Association (AfA), the Animal Transport Association (ATA), the Freight Management Association and the Canadian Association of Importers and Exporters.

Other partners of this year’s event include the Mexican freight forwarders’ association AMACARGA, the Federation of National Associations of Cargo Agents and International Logistical Operators of Latin America and the Caribbean (ALACAT), Americas Alliance, Airports Council International, the African Airlines Association (AFRAA), and Neutral Air Partner.

The Canadian Chamber of Commerce, the Toronto Regional Board of Trade, the Ontario Chamber of Commerce, and AGUNSA have also given backing to the event.
