SwissWorld Cargo coronavirus update

SwissWorld Cargo coronavirus update

After thoroughly evaluating all currently available information on the Coronavirus, SWISS and Swiss WorldCargo have decided to extend the suspension of flights to/from Beijing and Shanghai until March 28 with immediate effect.

Initially the flights had been suspended until February 29.

Swiss WorldCargo will also adjust the capacities on its services to and from Hong Kong in March. These flights will be operated with Airbus A340-300 equipment instead of the Boeing 777-300ER.

Together with the Lufthansa Group, SWISS and Swiss WorldCargo will continue to monitor the situation and remain in close contact with all responsible authorities, and keep customers updated regularly, said the airline in a statement.
