Swiss WorldCargo adds new routes for the winter

Swiss WorldCargo is getting ready for winter with new routes across Asia, South America and Africa being added to its timetable.

Twice-weekly flights to Ho Chi Minh City and Saigon in Vietnam will commence from Zurich from 15 November, along with twice-weekly services to Colombo in Sri Lanka on 3 November.

A twice-weekly service to Buenos Aires, Argentina will start on 7 November, while a seasonal route to Mahe in the Seychelles began on 22 September.

Swiss International Air Lines head of cargo, Ashwin Bhat says: “The introduction of these new routes offers great new opportunities for us. This shows the impressive intercontinental footprint of both Swiss International Air Lines and Swiss WorldCargo.

“In addition to our increased cargo capacity with the arrival of new Boeing 777- 300ERs, new destinations allow us to showcase our best-in-class quality and service on a variety of global routes.”

In Asia, Swiss WorldCargo already handles cargo on direct flights to Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Bangkok, Singapore and Phuket.

South American destinations include Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro.
