SolitAir selects Hactl for new Hong Kong freighter operations

SolitAir has appointed Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals Limited (Hactl) as its handling agent for its new freighter services to Hong Kong, which began with the inaugural flight on 7 August 2025.

The new service links SolitAir’s base in Dubai with Dhaka and Hong Kong, operated by a 22-tonne capacity B737-800BCF. Hactl will act as the one-stop handling partner for the Hong Kong operations, according to an official release from Hactl.

To meet the growing demand in the market, the airline’s B737-800BCF fleet is set to expand to anywhere between ten and twelve aircraft in the near future, the release added.

“We are honoured that SolitAir has selected Hactl to support its new freighter services into Hong Kong, and are fully committed to providing services which will support SolitAir’s future growth,” says Joanna Li, Executive Director – Commercial and Business Development, Hactl.
