Scanex represents WACO System in Azerbaijan

Scanex Enterprises has been appointed to represent freight forwarding network WACO System in Azerbaijan.

The Baku-based company is an independent freight forwarder offering road, air and sea freight services, and will be present at WACO’s extraordinary general meeting in October in Bangkok, Thailand.

Richard Charles, CEO of WACO says: “Scanex is a young and dynamic company that offers a full range of logistics services, and WACO members will benefit from the opportunities that the company will bring to them for the central Caucasus region.”

Azerbaijan’s economy is dependent on oil, and apart from international investment in oil and gas, the construction sector is growing rapidly.

Kanan Sadigli, managing director of Scanex says: “Azerbaijan is a busy transit zone, which connects Europe, Russia, and Asia, and that will create many opportunities for our partners in WACO. We are very positive about joining WACO and have already received invitations to meetings from numerous WACO members, who we are also looking forward to meeting at the EGM.”
