RwandAir has appointed Network Airline Services as its cargo general sales agent (GSA) for the UK.
The airline flies an Airbus A330 between Kigali and London’s Gatwick Airport three times a week, and provides connections to 22 destinations throughout Africa.
Network Airline Services UK GSA sales director, John Gilfeather says: “The Network Airline Services team has more than 30 years of experience in the African market and RwandAir adds a special significance to our area of expertise which we are extremely excited about.”
He adds: “We look forward to offering a fantastic service and building upon our existing long-term client relationships, providing cargo solutions to Africa.”
In 2016, RwandAir added two A330s to its fleet and a third Boeing 737-800NG, with a fourth due this year.
The airline plans services in Guangzhou in China, Bamako in Mali, Conakry in Guinea, Lilongwe in Malawi and New York in the USA for 2017.
