Riege elected to ACCF board

Riege elected to ACCF board

Frankfurt Airport

During its general meeting on Thursday, June 7, the committee of the Air Cargo Community Frankfurt (ACCF) elected Riege Software CEO Dr Tobias Riege, as a titular member of its board.

Dr Riege, who beat a rival candidate, does not claim this as a victory: “I did not win an election, I have gained trust and credit, I got an assignment. Now I have to perform. And I will.”

Following his election, Dr Riege pointed out that he is going to work on his assignment promptly and promised to keep his commitment over the entire period of his membership. “I didn’t come for the title, but for the challenge and results.”

Next to Dr Riege further executive committee members have been confirmed in office: Chairman of the board Sören Stark (Lufthansa Cargo AG), deputy chairwoman Anke Giesen (Fraport AG), for airlines Michael Hoppe (BARIG e.V.), for forwarders Götz Wendenburg (Kühne + Nagel (AG & Co.) KG), and for ground handling agents Patrik Tschirch (LUG aircargo handling GmbH).
