Rhenus obtains IATA CEIV Pharma at Schiphol

Rhenus Air & Ocean has obtained IATA CEIV Pharma certification at its Amsterdam Airport Schiphol branch.

In 2018, Rhenus started the process of obtaining the certification by reviewing its procedures for the handling of temperature-controlled shipments, optimisation of facilities, training of staff and assessing procedures by independent validators.

Frank Roderkerk, managing director of Rhenus Air & Ocean says: “As part of our corporate strategy we aim to meet the highest standards in global Air Freight. By obtaining the CEIV Pharma certification, we can adequately respond to pharmaceutical companies who are looking for a reliable logistics provider for the secure, safe and efficient shipment of their time and temperature-sensitive products.”
