Pro Carrier drives growth with senior appointment

Pro Carrier drives growth with senior appointment

Pro Carrier has appointed Ben Holmes as Head of Commercial to accelerate growth across its international markets.

As Head of Commercial, Ben will be responsible for Pro Carrier’s go-to market proposition, merging quality customer service with tailored solutions to create a standardised approach to product development and ongoing product management.  With this in place, it will streamline the business’ internal processes to allow focus on the service offered to customers.

Ben brings with him a wealth of experience, with an impressive career spanning fifteen years at the Royal Mail, where he worked his way from a graduate entrant through to Director of International Relations through various roles across Royal Mail’s International Business unit.

During his time at Royal Mail, Ben played a crucial role in alleviating the impact caused by the Russian cyber incident in January 2023, which saw Royal Mail’s International Export services come to a halt. Ben swiftly led his team to develop a manual process, leveraging his international contacts, which resulted in deliveries continuing in just three weeks.

Ben also served on the board of the Kahala Posts Group (KPG), an international alliance of the lead postal organisations from April 2021, until April 2024, as well as serving as chairman from July 2023.

Ben Holmes, Head of Commercial, said: “I am excited to be a part of the Pro Carrier team. Their passion for everything they do and how they service their customers with a bespoke and personal touch is what drew me to the business.

“It is great to work with a team that has such drive, who I look forward to working with and guiding throughout my time here.”

Ryan Lucas, CEO at Pro Carrier, added: “I am delighted that Ben has joined us as Head of Commercial. We are confident that his role will support the business in building strong processes to facilitate our exceptional growth. Already he is heading up a number of exciting partnerships and tenders that we hope to announce in the very near future.”
