Pledge offers discounts on carbon reporting platform for Multimodal attendees

Following the announcement of Pledge’s partnership with Multimodal 2024, Pledge will be providing attendees of the event discounted use of its accredited carbon emission calculating and reporting software. Attendees of this year’s show will be able to cash in on a 20 per cent discount of Pledge’s platform, allowing players across global supply chains to experience the value in investing in sustainable business practices.

Pledge was recently announced as the Official Sustainability Partner of Multimodal 2024, this year expecting over 12,000 attendees, as part of a joint initiative to drive environmentally responsible practices in the logistics sector.

Robert Jervis, Event Director, Multimodal, said: “Multimodal has long been a champion of sustainability within our industry. This collaboration with Pledge and this exclusive discount offer shows our collective dedication to promoting transparency, accessibility and accountability in carbon emissions reporting within freight and logistics.”

Pledge’s software enables freight forwarders to provide the necessary data and insights for shippers needing to comply with emissions disclosure regulations. Its software solutions bring accessibility and transparency to freight emissions measurement, reporting, and offsetting, allowing players in the supply chain industry to embed sustainable practices into their business objectives.

David de Picciotto, CEO and Co-founder, Pledge, said: “As the demand for transparency increases, integrating carbon reporting capabilities into business systems is becoming crucial for the supply chain, putting pressure on shippers to offer greater visibility into their carbon footprint. Pledge’s goal is to offer the essential data and resources that freight forwarders need to deliver this service to their customers.”

Multimodal’s dedication to encouraging sustainable practices among its attendees is similarly reflected through this years’ panels and speaking sessions. Pledge’s Sanj Matharu, Head of Partnerships, will be speaking on Tuesday 11th June and de Picciotto will be participating in a panel about alternative fuel paths and the industry’s journey to net zero on Thursday 13th June.
