Parra the main man for CEVA in Costa Rica

CEVA Logistics has appointed Willie Parra Fonseca as country manager for the growing market of Costa Rica in Central America.

He will be based at the logistic firm’s San José office reporting to Mike Wilson, senior vice president and head of the Central America cluster.

Parra has an extensive track record in both project management and the design and implementation of distribution centres across Latin America.

Over the last eight years in he has worked with industry leaders in retail, fast-moving consumer goods, technology, life science and the healthcare sectors and will aim to use these skills to further develop the CEVA product portfolio in Costa Rica.

Parra’s knowledge and understanding of both the forwarding and shipper sides of the business is set to prove invaluable in his new role. He says: “Being able to quickly assess a situation and then implement a strategy to deliver maximum return for the business and satisfaction to our customers are my key goals.”
