Ohio State sets October 29-30 for diversity in aviation conference

Since diversity is one of the most intractable problems in the aviation industry, Ohio State has scheduled its second annual diversity conference for October 29-30 at the Blackwell Hotel and Conference Center in Columbus, Ohio.

This conference is meant for educators, students, HR professionals, pilots, mechanics and airline management. Topics include inclusion and safety, business case, micro-aggressions, implicit bias, inclusive educational practices, the military, workforce and demand.

The aviation industry Night during the event is designed to create connections between aspiring and aviation professionals seeking employees to fill their company ranks. Attendees can expect to mingle not only with aviation professionals from all areas of the industry, but also hundreds of prospective students eager to learn about aviation opportunities available to them. Anyone looking to enhance their efforts to attract qualified candidates to their organisation should consider attending.
