Neutral Air Partner (NAP) recently celebrated its 8th year of excellence with a successful OPENAP AGM & Conference held in the vibrant city of Rio de Janeiro. Bringing together 200 like-minded delegates from across the globe, the event served as an annual gathering for members to connect and collaborate.

The focal point of the event extended beyond mere networking, featuring detailed presentations on the 2024 global air cargo logistics landscape, an update of the NAP ecosystem of air cargo networks, new products tailored to streamline members’ businesses, a particular emphasis on strategic airline partnerships, and panel discussions that delved into the challenges and opportunities within the Air Cargo Logistics market, with a spotlight on the Latin American region.

Additionally, special themes such as GSSA solutions, eCommerce logistics, special cargos, and the integration of AI in air cargo operations were explored.

One standout moment at the conference was the presentation of the NAP air cargo performance awards, now in their fifth year. These awards honored outstanding members across different activities and regions, with winners chosen through peer voting, showcasing the strong camaraderie and support within the NAP community.

The event was further commemorated with a gala dinner, creating a vibrant atmosphere among friends and colleagues.

“NAP’s ambition is to become the most powerful grouping of independent air cargo logistics architects worldwide, catering to the future needs of airfreight and express professionals looking to elevate their businesses. Customized air cargo community tools empower partners to optimize performance, enhance results, and showcase their core products and services to the international logistics community. Neutral Air Partner offers a distinct approach to logistics networking, providing tailored solutions, strategic partnerships, and opportunities for growth and collaboration in the ever-evolving air cargo industry.”

NAP was founded in Hong Kong in 2016, aiming to inject a greater degree of advanced air cargo expertise into the logistics industry, revive specialization, and to drive airfreight and express buying power across the cargo supply chain. The group combined is positioned among the world’s largest air cargo logistics providers, counting over 400 like-minded experts from 150 countries. NAP boasts a diverse ecosystem comprising neutral master loaders & consolidators, air cargo sales agents, GSSAs & Brokers, express & eCommerce operators, solution providers, and more.

Membership to NAP networks is by invitation only and available exclusively to selected local and regional airfreight professionals. NAP partners are filtered by industry sector specialization, sales & trade lane focus, strength of procurement with airlines, as well as industry vertical and special cargoes’ expertise. Those invited have a commanding local presence and a proven track record in air cargo operations. They are screened for their service quality, compliance, and financial status.

In response to global challenges and recognizing the significant role of SMEs air cargo sales agents, which represent over 45% of global airfreight volumes, NAP has launched its Global Airline Partner program. This program aims to explore strategic partnership opportunities with leading carriers on a global or regional scale. This initiative aligns with NAP’s mission to foster collaboration and innovation within the air cargo industry.
