Monarch gains freighter maintenance contract with Cygnus Air

Monarch Aircraft Engineering Limited (MAEL) has scooped a contract with Cygnus Air to provide C check maintenance for its Boeing 757 Freighter aircraft.

MAEL’s aircraft engineers will carry out C Check maintenance for the Madrid-based cargo airline, which will include insulation blanket modification for the Spanish operator.

All the maintenance work will be carried out at its London Luton Airport hangar facility and will commence this month.

MAEL sales manager, Neil Kirby says: “It is with great pleasure to be able to work with Cygnus Air and welcome them to our growing customer base of cargo operators.”
