Mexico City joins United Cargo TempControl network

United Cargo has extended its TempControl network for temperature-sensitive products to Mexico City through its interline agreement with AeroUnion.

TempControl shipments destined for Mexico City International Airport via the interline service may be tendered at any certified handling location in United Cargo’s TempControl network.

Shipments will be transported to Los Angeles International Airport then transferred onto AeroUnion’s daily widebody service from Los Angeles to Mexico City, to be collected from AeroUnion’s facility.

Jan Krems, president of United Cargo says that while the airline provides TempControl on narrowbody flights from Mexico City but customers were demanding widebody capacity.

He says: “This new interline service provides customers shipping widebody freight to MEX with the same relentless focus on control and integrity and the same level of service excellence they rely on throughout our global TempControl network.”

United Cargo’s TempControl network has been extended in Europe to also cover Athens, Greece; Naples, Italy; Prague, Czech Republic; Venice, Italy and a second location for Milan, Italy.

In the US, Portland, Oregon and Salt Lake City, Utah have been added to the TempControl network.
