Menzies Aviation and Norwegian renew US contracts

Menzies Aviation has renewed its contract with Norwegian Air for two years at four major US airports.

The renewal will see Menzies deliver ground handling services at Newark Liberty International Airport, Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, Orlando International Airport and Los Angeles International Airport.

Nearly 3,000 flights per annum will be serviced, and 18,000 tonnes of cargo will be processed in Los Angeles.

Giles Wilson, chief executive officer of John Menzies says: “We are delighted that Norwegian Air has yet again selected Menzies as its ground and cargo handling partner of choice at such strategically important US airports.

“These renewals are proof of the great relationship Menzies has cultivated with Norwegian over the past five years, and most importantly, the quality of service delivered by Menzies professionals at each airport. We look forward to further strengthening our relationship with Norwegian over the next two years.”
