MASkargo will relaunch freighter flights between Kuala Lumpur and Guangzhou to take advantage of the e-commerce boom in both regions.
The first Kuala Lumpur – Guangzhou service is set to commence on 4 June until December 2019, operating on day 2 and 5, departing Kuala Lumpur at 22.10 and arriving in Guangzhou at 02.15 the next day.
An Airbus A330-200F with 60 tonnes of capacity will be used on the route.
Mark Jason Thomas, chief commercial officer of MASkargo says: “we are pleased to re-introduce these KUL-CAN scheduled freighters, in view of the increasing demand of eCommerce shipment from China into Malaysia and also vice versa. The scheduled services will further boost MASkargo’s revenue by capitalising on the untapped business. It is MASkargo’s strategy to mount scheduled services to the new destinations to cater for the impending demand.”
The Kuala Lumpur – Guangzhou freighter service will support belly service that operate to 10 points in China, paving the way for more e-commerce movements.
