Mao Sun and Xing Er to fly with SAS Cargo

SAS Cargo will transport Mao Sun and Xing Er the giant pandas from China to Denmark, on their way to their new home at Copenhagen Zoo.

The VIP travellers will travel on flight SK996 on 4 April from Beijing to Copenhagen, before being moved onto a specially decorated lorry for the final part of the journey.

Leif Rasmussen, president and CEO of SAS Cargo Group says: “We are very proud to be appointed the official carrier of this very prestigious transport. We feel that being entrusted with bringing Mao Sun and Xing Er to their new home in Copenhagen is a big recognition of our continuous efforts in putting safety and quality at the forefront of all our operations. We have some very exciting days ahead of us now, planning for all the important steps in making this a safe and smooth journey for these two VIP travellers.”
