The company’s new office will act as a central hub for its operations within the subcontinent, where it will provide logistics and freight forwarding services for customers, both existing and new, across the region, enabling the seamless movement of goods to or from India back to the UK.

This latest expansion is part of LTS Global Solutions’ broader strategy to enhance its global footprint and solidify its position as a trusted partner for businesses, having only recently opened a regional office in Hong Kong, China earlier this year.

It is also close to establishing a third international hub, located in Dubai, UAE, which it expects to formally open in early 2025.

Strategically located at the centre of the Trans-Indian Ocean routes, which connect European countries in the west to East Asia, India serves as a pivotal trade hub for businesses across the globe, especially for those operating in the United Kingdom.

With the UK looking to actively strengthen ties with the world’s leading economic powers to drive growth, LTS’ new office opening comes at a poignant time for the business.

Only recently, Prime Minister Kier Starmer announced that fresh trade talks between the two countries will relaunch in the new year which would seek to strengthen economic ties.

Currently ranked as the world’s fifth-largest economy, it stands as one of the UK’s most significant trading partners and one of the fastest-growing economies globally. It is on course to become the third-largest economy in the world by 2050.

Its strategic location offers efficient connectivity between major global markets, making it an ideal gateway for trade between Europe, Asia, and beyond.

For Mirza Baig, Global Business Director at LTS Global Solutions, expanding the company’s reach into India presents an exciting opportunity to tap into a rapidly growing market where there is increasing demand for sophisticated logistics solutions.

Mirza Baig commented: “As one of the world’s fastest growing economies India represents a unique opportunity for us to provide a more efficient and localised logistics solution which is tailored to the unique needs of the region.

“By establishing a presence in key strategic markets, we ultimately aim to facilitate smoother cross-border operations for customers and build a localised network to help provide tailored

logistics solutions for businesses on a global scale. This will allow us to better serve our customers, regardless of location, giving them the comfort that they will receive the same high-quality service that LTS is known and respected for.

“Broadening our reach into this new territory therefore means we are not only just expanding our service capabilities to customers but also solidifying our position as a key player in the global logistics sector.”

Mirza continued: “Ultimately, we are excited to bring our expertise to the region and to support businesses in navigating the complexities of international trade, helping them to grow, succeed and thrive in this vibrant and expanding marketplace.

“Our new office is yet another exciting milestone achieved in recent years, and we are looking forward to continuing on this journey of global expansion, which has already seen us open a regional headquarters in Hong Kong and will also see us open a new office in Dubai early next year.”
