London Southend Airport secures temporary logistics partner

London Southend Airport has secured a temporary logistics partner operating between January 8 and March 25, 2023.

The new operation will see London Southend Airport used temporarily during the first quarter of 2023 by a leading logistics provider. The operation will include cargo flights that depart in the evening and land in the early hours three times a week, providing essential global connectivity.

John Upton, CEO of London Southend Airport said: “This operation will provide welcome additional business during the coming winter period. It will also mean we can continue to use the excellent facilities and expertise that we developed over recent years as part of our continuing plans to grow our logistics channel.”

“We remain thankful for the ongoing support of our local community, and we will continue to engage through our various forums to listen and update on progress as our business builds back.”
