Logitrans to return to Istanbul for the 11th time

Logitrans is to return to Istanbul for the 11th time, offering decision-makers from the Eurasian region a forum for making contacts and maintain existing business relations.

In addition to maintaining contacts and sharing of knowledge, the conference program will provide detailed information on the most important trends in this rapidly changing region and continue for three days from 15 – 17 November at the ifm Istanbul Expo Center.

Messe Muenchen member of the management team, Gerhard Gerritzen says: “Using the logitrans, we’ve created a platform to promote the establishment of logistics networks between Asia and Europe.”

“The excellent figures from the previous year and developments in terms of the registrations for the coming logitrans demonstrate how important it is for companies to remain in close contact, even in economically difficult times.”

Turkey stands out due to its geographical location and major investments in infrastructure with two major projects – a third bridge over the Bosporus and a new Istanbul airport, as well as privatisation of state ports and railway networks and the establishment of logistics hubs all over the country.

The show opens up opportunities for international logistics specialists, as Lars Gunsel of from the Logistics Alliance Germany says: “The logitrans represents an important marketing platform. It’s not just about gaining access to the Turkish market, but contact with the neighbouring countries plays an important role too.”

Georg Karabaczek of the Austrian Business Delegate for Turkey adds: “The field of logistics is an important sector for Austrian companies too and Turkey is a significant market. The exhibition brings together the representatives of important logistics specialists and is an excellent opportunity to establish contacts as the number of visitors attending continues to rise.”
