The 25th edition of LogiPharma, the world’s premier life sciences supply chain event, has officially opened its doors in Lyon, France.
“I am so happy to be welcoming you all here, in Lyon for what is set to be a very special edition of the world’s leading life sciences supply chain event,” Will Robinson, Programme Director at Worldwide Business Research (WBR), said, welcoming both returning participants and first-time attendees.
A Global Gathering of Leaders
The scale of this year’s event reflects LogiPharma’s growing influence. With nearly 350 thought leaders and representatives from over 250 pharma and med tech companies. The event features voices from every one of the top 20 pharmaceutical producers. In total, over 2,200 attendees from across the entire supply chain spectrum will gather in Lyon throughout the event to share insights, innovations, and strategies.
Tracks, tech and tastics
This year introduces a new Procurement and Partner Integration track and encourages attendees to customise their experience by navigating between seven focused workstreams — all just minutes apart within the venue.
Beyond content, LogiPharma 2025 is rich with networking and social opportunities, from tech and sustainability demos to a variety of tastings (wine, whisky, beer, cheese, and champagne), a running club, yoga sessions, and more.
AI takes center stage
Among the key themes highlighted for 2025 is the full-scale integration of artificial intelligence across the end-to-end supply chain. What were once exploratory pilot programmes are now large-scale implementations, revolutionising functions from planning and logistics to training and sustainability.
“Artificial intelligence is expanding exponentially, and the pharma and med tech producers in the room, as well as all other stakeholders in the E2E supply chain are really embracing this technology,” Robinson expressed. “Use cases are no longer pilots. Engagement in the technology is no longer exploratory.”
Transforming the Value Chain
The conference is also delving into value chain transformation, a critical element in ensuring speed to market, enterprise efficiency, and quality control.
“By leveraging advanced technologies and fostering collaboration, companies can enhance resilience, comply with regulations, and prioritize customer needs. This approach facilitates innovation, streamlines operations, and mitigates risks,” Robinson emphasised.
Sustainability and resilience
Despite shifting political winds, the commitment to sustainability and ESG goals remains unwavering across the industry.
“The industry has not changed tack and progress in being made. The industry has a long way to go, but Rome was not built in a day and the ardent pursuit of some producers’ ambitious targets within the next few years around carbon emissions is truly humbling to see,” Robinson stated.
