LATAM Cargo ups flights from Colombia and Peru

LATAM Cargo will strengthen its position in Colombia and Peru with extra freighter flights to the US and upgrading passenger flights to Spain.

LATAM Cargo Colombia plans to add 12 frequencies between Bogota and Miami, with imports into Colombia increasing with eight freighter flights a week between Miami and Bogota.

The expansion of Colombian services will take place between September and December.

Operations into Peru will increase with two freighter services a week between Miami and Lima.

In December, LATAM Airlines Peru will upgrade passenger services from Madrid to Lima from a Boeing 767 to a Boeing 787-9, tripling cargo capacity.

Andres Bianchi, CEO of LATAM Cargo says: “The new services to Bogota and Lima, and the expansion out of Colombia, will enable us to consolidate our network as the most comprehensive into South America. Combined with LATAM Group’s passenger network we plan to continue to provide our customers with more and better options to, from and within Latin America.”
