Air Charter Service’s HR director, Katie Ivie has joined the charter broker’s board of directors.

Ivie has held a number of human resources management roles over the past 20 years including seven years as HR director at Kelly Services.

Prior to this, Ivie spent four and a half years as head of HR at Adecco, which followed on from holding the same position at one of their subsidiaries for four years.

Chairman Chris Leach says that in the year and a half since Ivie joined, several offices have been opened and ACS has reached 500 employees.

Leach says: “Katie has played a key role in helping to recruit and retain the best talent that we have, through effective training and reward programmes. In addition to this, she has introduced software efficiencies to our HR process, including online Learning Management Systems, which aim to create a global standard of knowledge, processes and, above all, the same service quality around the world.”
