Kales chosen as Venipak’s GSSA

Kales Airline Services has been chosen as the dedicated GSSA for Venipak’s new weekly Hong Kong – Latvia Boeing services on B737 freighter flights.

Last week’s launch of the Riga-Hong Kong freighter has proven to be a huge success for e-Commerce giant Venipak. Flights are currently weekly but are expected to double in mid-October. Kales is representing the sales on these flights in Europe, except for the Baltics, and Hong Kong.

Justas Sablinskas, CEO of Venipak Group says: “It’s been an amazing start for Venipak’s direct freighter flight, connecting Europe with Far-East. The demand for such shipping services is growing at a rapid speed, and that is why we are very excited to welcome Kales Airlines Services aboard our latest venture. The co-operation between e-Commerce companies and GSA’s is what drives innovation and progress in the industry, laying down a solid path for the future.”

Sebastiaan Scholte, CEO of Kales Group, says: “We are thrilled to work with such a reputable company like Venipak. We are looking forward to a long lasting partnership. E-commerce is driving air cargo flows and is estimated to be around 20% of total air cargo volumes. It is a great additional service for our teams in Europe and Hong Kong”

Venipak is an international parcel delivery company, founded in 2004. As they also offer management of business logistics processes they are more than just the straightforward courier. Venipak is currently present in 40 countries, in four continents (Europe, North, South America’s, Asia).

Today, Kales Airline Services has over 35 offices located in more than 25 countries. They are an independent company dedicated to selling cargo and passenger products on behalf of airlines worldwide. Currently, Kales is representing more than 70 reputable airlines and collectively moving over a quarter million tonnes of cargo and handling over 100,000 passenger tickets per annum.
