Jonathan Clark to join Air Menzies as CEO

Menzies Aviation has picked Jonathan Clark as chief executive officer of Air Menzies International (AMI), who will join in January 2018.

Clark has spent over 30 years in the airfreight industry, holding positions at MSAS Cargo International, Lufthansa, Qatar Airways, DB Schenker, and most recently at Cargolux, where he has served as Africa Director since 2016.

Menzies Aviation president and managing director, Forsyth Black says: “We wanted a recognised expert in the cargo market to lead AMI into the next stage of its development; and, in Jon, I’m delighted to say that we got him. The road ahead of AMI is an exciting one; I’m sure Jon will relish the opportunity to take the business forward.”

Clark adds he is excited about the prospects of leading AMI, saying: “I am looking forward to leading a team that is quality-driven, customer-focused and has given AMI its excellent name in the market.”

“The AMI team and I will concentrate on ways in which we can innovate and grow the business to be ready for the ever-changing customer demands in this competitive market place.”
