Jettainer takes over Brussels Airlines ULD management

Jettainer has taken over the management and maintenance of Brussels Airlines’ unit load devices (ULD) with a specially designed unit being handed over to mark the occasion and travel as an ambassador.

Brussels Airlines now has a brand-new fleet of about 1,000 ULDs, many of them AKEs, following the change of management provider that came into force on 5 February.

The lightweight AKE units are lighter with the same robustness, reducing fuel consumption.

Jettainer head of marketing and PR, Martin Kraemer says the contract will significantly increase its African presence, saying: “We’re very proud to offer our latest customer a range of innovations: In addition to the units themselves, we’re also enhancing our company’s own IT systems. The new JettApp reflects our continual development and our strong innovative capability.”
