Jettainer appoints new sales director

ULD management firm Jettainer has appointed Thorsten Riekert as its new sales director and he takes over as head of the department at the German firm.

Jettainer says with his help, the company, a subsidiary of the Lufthansa Group, is aiming to “progressively expand its customer base and therefore continue its global expansion course”.

Thorsten Riekert has held various senior positions in sales operations within the Lufthansa Group in the past These include as head of sales and key cccount management at Lufthansa Technical Training.

Prior to this, he gained experience in the operational airline world in air traffic and in the air-cargo sector at other airlines.

“Thorsten Riekert is now not only complementing our team as a proven airline expert, but also as an experienced sales professional. His excellent knowledge of the sector will render great services for us, both as we look after and expand our business with existing customers and as we acquire new customers,” says Jettainer managing director, Carsten Hernig.
