innoAviation joins forces with Descartes and Nordisk

innoAviation has signed a strategic partnership with CORE Solutions at Descartes for its COREInsight Tracking Solutions and with Nordisk Aviation for its pallets and containers.

The signing ceremony in Hong Kong was represented by Kenneth Poon, general manager of innoAviation and Frank Hung, executive vice president sales and marketing for CORE Solutions at Descartes.

Spencer Kwan, managing director of innoAviation says that since the company’s foundation in August, the focus has been on applying technology to ULDs to give customers greater control of their shipments.

He says: “Our partnership with Descartes and it being the World’s First BLE ULD tracking solution provider and having created the world’s largest Bluetooth Low Energy (“BLE”) network in commercial air transport has only proven that we are moving in the right direction. In addition to ULD leasing, innoAviation also aims to be a leading force for cold chain solutions to airlines around the world.”

Ian Craig, managing director of CORE Solutions at Descartes says: “This partnership represents a tremendous opportunity to provide our joint customers with the real-time global visibility that they need to streamline their operations and improve customer service.”
