IAG Cargo reinstates key global routes in summer 2025 schedule

IAG Cargo, the cargo division of International Airlines Group (IAG), has announced its summer 2025 schedule, which includes an uplift in services to destinations across Asia, North America and South America.

A major highlight of the schedule is the return of daily flights between Kuala Lumpur (KUL) and London Heathrow (LHR). These will resume on 1st April 2025 and will operate on a B789. IAG Cargo will also reinstate three-times weekly services to San Francisco (SFO), operating from both Madrid (MAD) and Barcelona (BCN).

Capacity across North America will grow significantly, including the return of flights to Denver (DEN) from Dublin (DUB) as well as additional services on established routes such as Chicago (ORD), Vancouver (YVR) and Washington (IAD) from London Heathrow (LHR).

In Latin America, services to Rio de Janeiro (GIG) from Madrid (MAD) will increase from four to six flights per week, supporting growing demand in the region. Asia-Pacific and Middle East networks will also benefit from increased frequencies from London Heathrow (LHR). Routes to Doha (DOH) will increase from seven to 12 flights per week, while services between Tokyo (HND) and London Heathrow (LHR) will grow from ten to 14 weekly flights.

Commenting on the summer schedule which will operate until October 2025, Camilo Garcia Cervera, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer, IAG Cargo, said: “Our summer 2025 schedule delivers capacity growth across key global markets. We are particularly pleased to restart flights to Kuala Lumpur, Denver and San Francisco, whilst increasing capacity into North America, Latin America, and Asia-Pacific.

“Whether we are transporting electronic chips, pharmaceuticals or perishable items via our wide range of specialist transportation solutions, our customers can trust us to deliver their goods to destinations across the globe.”

IAG Cargo continues to offer extensive capacity across six continents via its primary hubs in London, Madrid, Dublin, and Barcelona. Out of London alone, IAG Cargo offers capacity on over 600 weekly wide-body services. Dublin serves as a key transatlantic gateway, boasting over 80 weekly wide-body rotations. Madrid and Barcelona provide over 240 weekly wide-body connections to North America, Latin America and the Caribbean.
