HNCA denies acquiring Frankfurt-Hahn Airport

Henan Civil Aviation Development and Investment Co (HNCA) has denied reports that it is the buyer of Frankfurt-Hahn Airport.

It has been named as the buyer of the German airport by other media outlets, but HNCA denies this. HNCA is a 35 per cent shareholder in Cargolux.

In a statement on Cargolux’s website, HNCA says: “Contrary to several media reports that name Henan Civil Aviation Development and Investment Co., Ltd. (HNCA) as the buyer for Hahn Airport, HNCA has confirmed to Cargolux that it has neither any interest nor intention to participate in the sale of the German airport. News reports indicating anything to the contrary are therefore inaccurate.”
