Groundforce Portugal renews ISAGO until 2024

Groundforce Portugal, national leader in providing services and innovative solutions to airlines, has announced that the company has been accredited with the ISAGO certification for Lisbon, Oporto and Funchal. This international certification authenticates the compliance of operation safety standards for organisation and management (ORM), load control (LOD), passenger and baggage handling (PAB), aircraft handling and loading (HDL), aircraft ground movement (AGM), as well as cargo and mail handling (CGM). The certification is valid for two years, due for renewal in March 2024.

In Groundforce’s process and innovation director, Paulo Colla Carvalheiro own words, “We are deeply committed to providing the highest level of quality of service and safety standards to our clients and our workers. Being distinguished by this ISAGO certification is extremely important to our organisation, particularly during the challenging times the Covid-19 pandemic presented to our industry and to our people.” said Carvalheiro.

The ISAGO audit streamlines procedures by establishing a uniform set of standards. Also, it assesses the management and monitors systems in place at the ground service provider’s corporate headquarters, as well as the consistency at the station operations level.

Although the company has been certified since 2007, achieving this certification every year is always an important milestone in its commitment to safety, while it consistently promotes a safe culture through systematic processes, training and leadership communications.
